Quite simple. Argent openly threatened Conan. Conan complains. Argent shortly after becomes a moderator. Conan disappears. I had nothing to do with this. Don’t shoot the messenger.
I sure don't have any recollection of that series of events. Not saying it didn't happen, just I don't remember it. If Conan reported anything to me I'd have looked to see if any rules were violated and if so taken action. I don't remember doing that but hey I'm old and the old memory ain't what it once was.
Argent was a moderator but ONLY of one forum initially and never had any mod authority outside of the specific forums he was assigned to. If I recall correctly and I may not, Conan never posted to those forums. Argent is now banned here tho I strongly suspect he is back under a different name. Who knows Conan might also be. He has used several different names over the years.
Under one of those names I actually considered him a friend and never fully understood why he left under that original name.
Argent, honestly was always a PITA but I put up with him until he violated the rules, at which point I canned him. If I'm right about him being back with new name the same will apply, so long as rules aren't violated, all will be OK. If they are, oh well, he will be shown the door again.
