The only one that really surprises is Trader Joe's, I always thought it was like Aldis, well it is now owned by .
I knew IBM sold its laptop division to Lenovo, but in checking I found out that IBM, a few years after selling, bought a 50 percent share of Lenovo; things get curiouser and curiouser.
BUT
This explains why Hollywood and sleazy, most nowadays, entertainers shut their mouths about China.

Burger King actually is still "American Owned", but set up a Canadian company to avoid paying the high American corporate taxes.  Same with several "Dutch-American" companies.  The Biden Administration and the Democrats raised the corporate tax back up the the highest in the world, so American companies are selling out of moving overseas to pay lower taxes.

So much for "tax the rich" schemes.  There soon will be no "American Owned" companies, if the Democrats keep this up.  Then who are they going to tax, the Net Worth of everyone.  You own your house and it is worth $400,000 but you bought it for $100,000 years ago.  You made $300,000, so we are going to tax that.  You have a retirement IRA or 401k, then we are going to tax that before you withdraw it for your income.

Instead of cutting government spending, they are going the way of Venezuela, Cuba, and Soviet Russia.  Tax the rich out of existance, then everyone is equally poor.  It sounds good to start with, especially with the poor, but you run out of rich, then taxes trickle down to the middle class, then everyone is poor, except the ruling elite.
