What is most valuable to students in our world today?

Simply some of the following:

Learning Respect for others.  Following Judeo-Christian ethics whether you are a Christian or not, the rules are good for everyone.  Respect for what others own, and private property. 

Moral values, ties in with the above.  What is not normal shouldn't be pressed on others as normal (LBGGTQ crap).  Human life should be valued as precious, whether unborn or very old. 

Freedom of speech.

Freedom to defend yourself with whatever force is necessary. 

Learning how to balance a checkbook and do household finances.

Getting a high school education. 

Learning a skill after high school that actually pays you well.  Trade school may be what most need, not college.  We need welders, pipe fitters, mechanics, plumbers,
electricians, heating/air conditioning specialists, nurses. 

College student loans should only be given to those skills our country needs such as doctors, engineers, registered nurses, chemists, etc.  Not French literature phd's. 

50% of college degrees today aren't worth the paper they are printed on, yet these people took out expensive student loans and can't get a decent job.

Agree with everything except getting a high school lack of education... and after 13 years in the education system these children should have some actual job skills...

They are not being taught any of that in school. Its being replaced with garbage like CRT, how to worship the federal government, and how evil America is.  Its a big reason we have the government we do.  Keep people ignorant of what really matters.

should be taught in the home by
the male father and the female
mother, and not left up to the
school system to do it their way
Every school age child in America
should be able to read and write
with ease, and not pass year after
year functionally illiterate
The majority of people today can't use
words in the proper context, and even
the national "news" people substitute
ghetto slang for proper nomenclature.
We should all strive to be smarter and
better educated than the generations
before us. That's one of the things my
own father asked of me before he passed.
The years I worked at my profession it
was very important to be able to write out
exactly and precisely what you needed to
have on your paperwork to keep everything
orderly and correct. Unfortunately, a good
many service advisors and technicians weren't
able to write out their portion of a repair
order in a legible and understandable manner.
It would mess up everyone down the line
and screw up the vehicle repair history and
just create problems all the way around.
For some of the work on the telephone
that involved something that might be
misinterpreted, we'd use phonetic alphabet,
Alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, etc.
But things have changed, and I guess
people think it's easier to just fix mistakes
the second go round

Sounds like a great investment considering how many small businesses actually make it. Our “freedom of enterprise “ err lack thereof and govt intrusion help greatly to spoil the American dream...
