It's snowing

The weatherguesser hit his prediction and I can see, maybe, a 1/4 mile and it is blowing almost horizontal. If he continues to be right it is supposed to quit before noon, the clouds clear off, and get a few degrees above freezing so it should mostly be melted by nightfall.

We got maybe 2", and its already melting.

It is six degrees here now, and will hit double digits sub-zero tonight but this is the last shot of winter.
Next week temps. in the 40s.
I wish we had your snow as we need it, with the ground not frozen very far down, a lot would have soaked into the ground.

The corner of a hill here, is now snow free, to me that always means winter is done.

It has quit, the clouds are beginning to break up, and the snow is gone. There was just enough to cover everything. It wouldn't have bothered the brass monkey much but this geezer is spending the rest of the day in the house as it isn't supposed to get out of the '30's. The yo-yo is on it's way up though with a high in the mid 50's tomorrow and mid '60's Sunday and the wind is supposed to light even though it's March.
