G2s and Encores oh my!

Lately I have been able to shoot a bit. My G2 favorites are 22 Hornet, 223, 25-20 and 30-30, all carbine length barrels. The Encores are 22 Hornet, 221 Fireball and 7.62 X39 all rifle length barrels. I have other barrels including some G2 12" pistol barrels. If the wind will ease up, I will shoot some more. What are some favorites of T/C people out there?

Back when I was still shooting TCs I guess my favorite fun gun was the 6 TCU. I had it with 14" handgun barrel and 23" rifle barrel. Loved that little round. For deer tho the 7-30 was always my favorite.

I had many others but those were my favorites.

I don't have a G2 anymore but my favorite was a 24" MGM .45 Colt barrel. With a Leopold ultralight scope the whole setup only weighed 4.5 pounds or so.

I have a G2 in 7x0 waters Really love that round great deer gun .Also have a 23 inch vent rib 410 barrel for it.

I have a G2 with 223,17hmr, and 22rimfire barrels. The 223 barrel is extremely accurate and the other two aren’t exactly slouchy in that department. I have thought about adding 6.8 Remington and 204 Ruger barrels but can’t figure out a need for either.

I like my original contenders and my New Hampshire encore frames. Have not tried the g2...

My deer rifle is a encore with a 20” mgm barrel in 375 win. Would prefer something more butt. Those is der regs... low power x3 leupold and is adequate. Use to also smoke em with a encore 50 cal mz butt now my mz hunting is done with a savage ml 2 left to me by a friend who said that maybe I’d think of him in mz season...
