In 1994, after the fall of the USSR, a conference was held in Budapest, among the major interested powers.  It was agreed that  if the Ukraine would give up it's nuclear weapons (#3 in the world)  The signatories... USA, Russia and the UK would guarantee they would guarantee Ukraine's security and safety by promising not to attempt ant takeover of the country.   China and France were minor signatories.

Ukraine, trusting to sworn promises, handed their nukes over to Russia.

.. Surely, Putin is a proponent of fair play..and kept promises..

What does the symbol of the UN flag mean?

— Official Seal and Emblem of the United Nations, Report of the Secretary-General, 15 October 1946. The olive branches are a symbol for peace, and the world map represents all the people and the countries of the world. White and blue are the official colours of the United Nations.

How the hell is that a stylized version of a swastika?

The dif between u.n. and nato. “ they both aim for peace and prosperity, international law and security, and the accomplishment of world peace. Both organizations work to accomplish their goals” Did Psaki post this description?
I’m laughing my ass off... My opinion. they want world peace while willing to exterminate most of us to attain this goal and there idea of  international law is one world government. YMMV.

In post #2 ......I did not say UN.

I was referring to the NATO logo, which some people think looks like a stylized swastika.
.
Some people also wonder just who actually won WW2, especially those who have read Gravity's Rainbow....

Like these ....

.

I guess I don't see it.

Dee is correct, the swastika is an old symbol, not originated by the Nazis.  Seveal American Indian tribes were very familiar with the symbol and used it in their decorative motifs on pottery, blankets etc.

It is also an ancient Hindu symbol.  Many suspect that old Adolph, while spreading his tales of "Aryan' fun and games, likely adopted the ancient symbol from Aryan roots, since the Aryans were supposed to have  migrated to Europe, from northern India area.

Swastikas have been around for quite a while.

Yes, that is absolutely true, but nobody since the end of WWII has used it in any other form except to represent the Nazis.  Even some who had used it well before Adolf stopped using it due to it's connotations.

We were discussing modern badges not ancient symbols. Try reading before spraying Putin’s propaganda at us.
