  This is not just in Minneapolis..but in all the big cities that are run by gangsters.

I did not view the video (maybe later when the household is awake), just commented.  There are common threads in "drive by" and seemingly "random" shootings (drugs, love triangle, racism, rivalry, infamy, political statement, poverty, ignorance, emotion, etc.) and a Learning Curve, which is apparently too steep for the Kool Aid drinkers.  IDK, perhaps the following remarks are not related to an "auto-fire" trigger mechanism or the OP, but rather random thoughts on a parallel track...

Without a doubt, Bad Guys with guns DO NOT CARE and make life miserable for the Kool-Aid drinking masses.  For those law-abiding individuals who own guns, carry, conceal, believe in the RKBA, and herald the responsibility DEMANDED by the 2nd Amendment, ending the lives of Bad Guys with guns is a PERSONAL CHOICE (and random opportunity of proximity to circumstance) to be judged by 12 rather than buried by 6. 

In some places (certainly not Democrat "Mind Control" places), that personal choice is PROTECTED under law in a narrow manner.  "Eminent danger" and "threat of great bodily harm" will be 2nd guessed by 12 and doggedly prosecuted.  Still, leaving the scum of the Earth to rot is considerably better than being in the ground. 

In some instances, following a justifiable private citizen shoot, [Kyle Rittenhouse; Jack Wilson, West Freeway Church of Christ; George Zimmerman (arguably); etc.], the protagonist is praised - not that adulation is sought [George].  Certainly, not everyone is "happy" with the outcome [deceased's family, "they-was-raised-in-poor-and-unfortunate-circumstance" Kool Aid drinkers, rabid Prosecutors, Race Baiters, ignorant Useful Idiots, I could go on and on, etc.].

Does anyone "know" when and where lightning is going to strike - No.  Do folks get pictures of lightning striking - Yes (infrequently). 

Does anyone "know" when or where a random shooting is going to take place - No.  Do law abiding, gun toting, private citizens cross paths with Bad Guys in the act - Yes (infrequently).  Does the Media portray Good Guys with guns in a POSITIVE LIGHT - HELL NO!  Where am I going with all of this - IDK...

Gang violence will continue as liberal prosecutors, Democrat mind control, "defund the police", useful idiots, ignorance, poverty, race baiting, and Kool Aid drinkers "take a knee" to crime.  Safety is not guaranteed.

The Police State is always reactive to changes in the community.  SWAT Teams, tactical gear, quasi-military activities, and increased budget requests (likewise ALL government departments) are some current hallmarks.  Political winds, the not-always-the-brightest-bulbs, callousness, and no trust of ANYONE are job related hazards. 

What is remarkable is the street level beat cop's extraordinary bravery, heroism, perseverance, and dogged determination to make a difference in deterring crime (can't defeat it).  Perhaps if we paid teachers more, we would see less crime in the streets.  Knowledge is Power.

Also, parents should raise their children with Christian values, whether they are believers or not.  It has merit.  Also, having fathers at home that give a good hard working provider for the boys especially to take after and for the girls to respect.

If these children don’t have a dad at home they tend to look for father figures, many they find do not generally have unconditional love for them and can be bad examples, thus exacerbating the problem. Sorry about the .25 cent word.

      Oh boy! How often have we heard that old crap?   Of course, there is also the fact that in most cases, teachers are paid a decent wage already.

   ..But  let's examine that greed statement a bit more..by applying some logic...

  1) Sheriff turns bank robber loose on way to jail, when asked why, he replies;
     
     Maybe if you paid me another thousand per year, I would have put him in jail".

  2)  Stray dogs running loose all over the neighborhood..when asked the dog warden says;

    " If you pay me better I may catch some of them!"

  3) People getting sick from cholera..traced to municipal water..  Water plant manager says;

    " If you paid me what I think I am worth, maybe the people wouldn't be getting sick!"
   
   Now, think..but not too hard..  What should happen to these people who the taxpaying public have placed their trust in ?
   
  Should they be rewarded with a raise in pay?  You decide...

The drumbeat in NM for years and years is we have to pay teachers MORE to attract good teachers. For several years now it has been to match the salaries paid in the states adjoining us. A quick search showed me that we were right in the middle with salaries when the legislature met for the every other year short session this year which is supposed to be strictly budget matters. More about the session later. What the search showed was that NM was right in the middle with two states, Texas and Colorado, paying more and Arizona and Oklahoma paying less. Just twist the facts. No one bothers to check and even if they did the democrats that control state government just ignore them and do what they want. What has that resulted in? NM is dead last in K12 education in the US. That is right, #50. This year the teachers got a huge raise. Will it make a difference? The previous ones have only resulted in the quality of education dropping to the absolute bottom. On a side note a teaching degree is the easiest degree to get in the state, even easer than one in political science.

Also the state controls the curriculum and schools have teach to that standard. The State board of Education is run by governor appointees so that should be a clue to a big part of our education problem. Every incoming governor appoints new people and instructs them to throw out what the last administration was doing. Out last governor and her helpers actually had grades improving. In came our little troll and out the door that program went and now we have dropped lower than we were before. Somehow, despite all the obstacles, the southeast part of the state manages to do a better job of educating our kids that the rest of the state.

On the later thing: every administration manages to sneak a few things in on the short session that have nothing to do with finances. Our current little troll went totally overboard this year and no one in the legislature cared except the greatly out numbered republicans that are just ignored and she got everything she wanted.
