Well I have to say I'm not
surprised at the end to this
woman's "exciting " adventure.
For whatever reason, I see and
have known a couple of these
that go for the bad boy mystique,
and at the least end up heartbroken,
and then some like this one end
their days in a rubber bag.
I've heard a lot of excuses made,
like " it was for love.  . " etc.
Sorry. I call BS on the love excuses.
Calling an abuser or murderer an
object of love is twisted.
If I had it, I'd bet a hundred that there
was at least a few decent respectable
men that would have been ecstatic to
have that woman for a mate.

Way back in 1977 I saw a sheriff who happened to be my neighbor, hire a guy to be his "Chief Deputy, and his wife to run the jail kitchen.

At about that same time, myself and another officer busted a couple a guys coming out of a drug store.  At 3am. We stuck'em in the county jail.

Well, turns out one of'em could cook, and was put to work in the kitchen. It also turned out that he was quite the "Romeo", and him and the Chief Deputys' wife hooked up.

The Chief Deputy got a divorce, his ex wife married the convict, and I heard that he went straight, and they lived happily ever after.

Hitting the wall is tougher for some
women than for others
She realized how bad she screwed up
and that she basically threw her life
away,  and that the man she had thought
she was going to mold and reform into
her ideal prince was playing her for a

The thought of having to face her
coworkers and friends and family

  There are many like him out there..and they are not all in jail..yet..  Young ladies must be trained how to spot these phonies.
  As Jeff said, these guys who prey on gullible females and their 'pound puppy' syndrome, are among the lowest of the low.
  Some real sharp ladies nevertheless, seem to fall for the "bad boy" types.  Just one more thing that puzzles honest men, concerning certain females..

He is probably fine. Minnesota prisons are not real hard core. Quite a few years ago I was sent to service some equipment at a minimum security prison. I did not even know it was a prison until I asked. Lets just say my suspicion was aroused because the work force in the prison didn't match the demographics of the locale.
