Intro from a new user , and hello to ajj

Rather than continue "lurking" here and doing the "peep show" thing, I though I would introduce myself to all. I plan on reading a whole lot more than posting as I am a new shooter and there are far more better sources of information here than mine.

I am a new shooter (about 3-4 years now) and really took the plunge last year by quitting golf and all other hobbies to devote time to a young family and the shooting sports.

I am lucky enoungh to be able to shoot with "ajj" from ths board, and have picked his brain probally more than I should have from time to time. I really enjoy the "Southern Nationals" and I am looking forward to the "Southern Trifectia" this year.

Thanks for making a place for me and like I mentioned I will hopefully be keeping my ears engaged more than anything!

George is one of the good guys, openly enthusiastic, very generous with time and resources, always looking for a way to help the whole club. These are the qualities that "grow" the sport by making newbies feel welcome and showing them how much fun it can be. I hope he offers his insights frequently.
I don't think posting here means the poster thinks he's some kind of hot shot. In my case, I'm a fan more than anything else. I know I'm no great shooter. Exchanging views and experiences feels like part of the learning process, plus it's fun, just like a real conversation. The fact that some REALLY accomplished shooters are willing to post here is just icing on the cake.
