Good rules to follow
« on: February 08, 2022, 03:20:21 AM »
Massad Ayoob talks about what you should do and how to act if you are pulled over while carrying.  Also a link to the website he mentions in the video. Shows carry laws for every state. What states accepts your state carry permit etc.

I’ve read a lot of his articles in the past and he always seems to be wishing to have been in a gun fight. Painfully wishing he had been actually. All his training for naught and always making excuses. Add nauseum.

Massad Ayoob is a fake, and a gun rag writer that's bullshitted his way throug life passing himself off as an expert in something he has never done, and has no experience in, and given his vocation, isn't likely to gain any.

He's teaching, and sharing his "theory".

But he gets paid a lot of money each year to be an "expert witness" in court cases.

Lawyers love him no doubt. Most politicians in Congress are lawyers, that's working great to.

it amazes me that anyone with a gun and a degree in literature or journalism can write an article for a gun rag and instantly become an expert.  Isnt like the old days when guys like Elmer Kieth actually shot and reloaded and wrote about what he really did. I dont know Ayoob so i wont comment on him but i have met a number of gun rag journalists through the years and 75 percent of them havent shot as much in there lifetime as some of us have in a year and about all of them wouldnt lower themselves to really pull the handle on a loading press because they can lie about how great some ammo is and get cases of it for free. Bottom line is if you get into a situation that you might have to use a gun and hesitate to try to remember what some gun expert said your probably not posting tommarow. Me? ill worry about legality in the trial that will follow. Botom line is if you been in combat or have been shot at like dee you know that when your life is threatened all rules go out the door. Only thing i will say about Ayoob that i concluded from his writing is he may have real world experience but he is an ego maniac that thinks the sun rises and sets on his opinion. I dont recall him every saying to take the advice of someone other then him.

Ayoob has never been more than a "reserve officer". I've met dozens of this type over the years. They want the badge. They want the uniform. They want the recognition. They want in the fraternity.

They DON'T WANT, the grind, the mental strain, the physical contact required, the blood, and the constant exposure to death before the undertaker purtied things up.

They also didn't want the pay.

They are used by departments for traffic control during parades, festivals ect.

Ayoob has promoted himself with his degree in journalism over the years, and hes articulate. But hes never been tried out.

Hes a college boy, and lawyers are college boys. They work well together, to twist a situation into something more to their liking.

And BTW. I don't consider myself an expert.

At one time I used to absorb all the
stew that gun writers poured out,
until I got older and wiser and figured
out how FOS many of them are
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
