Dee is missing some dirt
« on: June 08, 2022, 07:08:10 AM »
It started blowing through here about 9;15 the morning and is still coming. The first of it is probably down around the Big Bend by now. I was running the brush hog this morning cleaning up Mother Nature's mess from last summer when it hit and about blew me off the tractor. Big brown wall of dirt right out of the Texas Panhandle. Being a contrary old cuss I was bound and determined to finish the spot I had blocked out. It took about an hour and I was one armed tractor driver while going into the wind. Even with my goggles strap over my cap it wouldn't stay on. Tractor is parked, I'm showered off, and still can't see over about a quarter of a mile because of the dirt in the air. The rest of my day will be spent inside.

Looks like your tractor's air filter will need some attention soon..

I just serviced it but brush hogging stirs up a lot junk. I have to clean the radiator screen frequently also but it's easy to tell when it needs that. Just watch the the heat guage. I do the air cleaner every other time.
