ince our last meeting of We the People, I’ve been wrestling with the questions, “Where are we?” and “Where do we go from here?” and “What can we do – specifically?”
In other words, what is this fight for freedom supposed to look like now?
The time has come to start moving forward with the positive message of who we are as liberty-loving patriots. Sometimes it seems we are always on defense. Yes, defense is essential. But, we have to also learn how to play offense and move the needle on our terms rather than theirs. Playing defense exclusively leaves us - oddly enough - under their control. We must do a better job of expressing the vision of liberty - and how the green grass and blue skies of our God-given liberties actually leads to human flourishing.
Yes, we must be ready to defend. But, we must also be ready to advance. As our We the People group goes forward, we are intentionally planning on talking about what are the things we can do to ADVANCE the liberty position.
