It is said that some highland games in America, such as at Grandfather mountain, NC (40-50 miles NE of Asheville) .... are larger than anything held in Scotland itself !
Yeah, we are considering going to that one next year or after.
But Nancy will have to squeeze it in to our other travels.
We have a bunch of day trips planned plus a cruise in Dec. and a horse show in Ocala in Feb.
Nancy won't hardly let me sit down, she's either trying to keep me from vegetating or she's trying to kill me. 
Probably Nancy's plan is best oin the long run..

Here's a poem I wrote for her 2 years ago which explains Nancy to a "T"

Twas the night before Christmas and I lay as though dead
I had just finished building my wife a She Shed
The pain was intense, much more than in the past
As bad as it was I prayed it wouldn’t last
I had taken pain meds but they hadn’t helped
I didn’t want to look sissy or I would yelped
I was in such despair I wished I were dead
I didn’t want a future laying in bed
But miracles happen, and one did appear
My beautiful wife grinning from ear to ear
She said I love you and I love my shed
Now quit feeling sorry for yourself and get out of that bed
What she said next brought me to tears
She said I’ve got enough projects for thirty more years
And that’s one of the million reasons I love her 😍
