I don't see this as lowering the wall between Church and state.
I see it as raising the wall to keep other schools from interfering with a man's private prayer.

Freedom of religion is all that keeps a semblance of normalcy in this country.

They talked about it on one of
the radio stations briefly yesterday.
It was said that what if the coach
and some of the players had rolled
out prayer rugs and bowed to
mecca. But but but.  . .that's different.  .

Can't worship God or give praise

Somebody on that radio station was setting up straw men.  Clearly, Joe Kennedy is a former marine and devout Christian.

     Of course if he were a Muslim and a to pray..our 1st amendment would cover that also..
 
   So, our job is to evangelize..sitting like statues won't get it !

Actually,  a caller was boo hooing
about faculty "exposing " kids to
religion, and the one man brought up
the muslim prayer thing.
And he was right. If he was muslim
there wouldn't be any complaints
and none would be allowed
