The great Thomas Jefferson

I've noticed today that many
who are busy enjoying the freedom
bestowed on us in this nation
are also busy criticizing the
Independence Day holiday as
being geared towards white males
and all the talk of imperialism,
and inequity, blah blah yak yak

I'd just like to say that even though
the founding father Thomas Jefferson
is widely criticized today, he was very
intelligent and patriotic and an all around
good man that deserves every word of
praise ever said or that has yet to be
said for the rest of time.
People that criticize the nation and the
founding fathers just don't have much
of a life and don't have any self esteem
or self respect.
All I can say is that they need to pack
their goods and leave the country ASAP

  I respect all our  founding fathers, for their courage, selflessness and wisdom.  However like every man, Jefferson too had his warts.

  One example..  He rewrote the Bible to produce what he called "The Jefferson Bible" (available in most libraries), wherein he added things, left things out, and changed others 

  Now, he had a perfect right to do that, especially since he too, fought for our first amendment.

  However, he likely made a fatal mistake... in failing to heed (Revelations 22:18,19).. that warning was given in 
  second and third from the last verse in the Bible.

        Rev 22;

      18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
