Just had a barrel, set of dies, and loading data delivered. 145 gr. Speer BT at 2580 is smoking.

It's a Bower rechamber of a T/C S-14 7x30W barrel.

I've got one. I guess the load data you got was Don's data sheets. I would advise backing off his loads by 10%. Don says 3-4gr but on a couple of the loads this was still a little hot for my barrel. His velocity data is unobtainable for me with my barrel. All of the barrels from Don that I have shot do shoot very well.

Thanks for the tip. Looking over the loading data I was surprised at the charge weights that delivered the high listed velocities. I'm more than willing to settle for a few less fps and not stretch one of my Contender frames.
