I have what I THINK is a HR sportsman that is having trouble ejecting the spent shells. I think the "hook" is worn, and slips far too soon as the top action is swung open. My problem is the parts shown in the Numrich catalog ( parts # 29 and 30, do not match the actual part in my pistol. There are NO markings on the pistol other than the serial number, but it looks very similar to another H&R "sportsman" 9 shot 22 revolver I have.
here is a pic of the hook in my pistol - can anyone identify it ? Is it from a H&R revolver ? the s/n is 55090xx.
