Patriot, never heard of it. AT&T has the best coverage of any of the carriers here so that is what we are on. Still a lot of dead spots though. I think my son is on Verison and other than dead spots he is happy with it.

I’m ok with service except when there is a problem it’s nearly impossible to speak to a human and computer prompting never has a category I need. Also I believe they are not in the best interest of conservatives. Patriot Mobile is out of Texas and supports conservative causes even though a percentage of the money goes to a carrier they buy data from.

I got BACK OFF Verizon this past Tuesday,  and BACK ON "PURETALK". $40.00 a month for both phones,  and 100% same coverage as Verizon, or AT&T.

My flip phone is black also Lloyd. I have coverage thru Straight Talk. I have no clue who that is but this is the first time ever I can actually make a call from my home using it.

I've had a few others with Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and none of them got a signal here at my home including that smart phone Matt bought for me. Dunno what tower this one is hitting but it works here in this almost total dead zone where I live.

Hardly anyone who comes out here can get a signal from here.

That is another I have never heard of. I went to their website and they won't tell me if they are available in my area. I also did the quiz on who I was with and what my cost was. It came back as "You have a pretty good deal" so I'll stay where I am.

Mne is red and it is purty.  ;D Since it's in a black case I guess that doesn't count. I'm still POed that my old Motorola StarTak went obsolete. It was just a phone but it would talk where none of the rest would. No camera or bells and whistles and it had a built in belt clip. The perfect mobile phone.

Mine is a flip phone that is held together with electrical tape... I have a free phone from Verizon in a box that I’ll be returning. Sometimes it’s not about dollars and cents...

I had Verizon for years, just switched to Visible. $25.00/mo with unlimited talk data and text, and a personal hotspot with no limit. Uses Verizon towers, too.

Verizon works very well for me, but it is expensive and customer service sucks. Bought a new phone beginning of the plandemic (late 2020?). Of course they didn't have it in the store, but I did receive it in the mail 2 days later. When I couldn't figure out the new phone, went back to the store for help and was denied entry. Only people allowed in were those buying phones or paying bills.

We've been using Verizon since 2018 when we got home from Kobuk Alaska, and yes it is a little expensive, but almost all the time we get service in the cabin when we didn't before. What I like is that if I can't figure something out, I stop at their office in Sandy (17 miles away) and they fix/explain it at no cost. I also like the flip phone I got. My SIL, a truck driver, had the same flip phone. I've dropped mine multiple times and it still works because it is rubber coated and didn't leak when it went in the drink either. No real complaints with them.

They are funding and supporting liberal causes so their customers are also... When I find this stuff out, I shop elsewhere. That and customer service are my gripes with them...
