Made a couple pounds today (no workie) so wok ie. Fried rice needs a bit of meat and for me there is nothing like pork char siu...

Well, 1/4 # went into my fried rice and my brood devoured the rest. I had plans of freezing the leftover pork for future use. Ah well, best laid plans of mice and men I suppose. Next time I’ll make a very large batch and squirrel some away to the freezer.

It’s the red pork ya get at Chinese places or those little pieces of pork in pork fried rice. Red and sweet. Very good. I have a recipe and the ingredients I’m going to try next time butt,
(Pork butt) that is, I have been using packs of ready made seasoning I get from the Asian market.
