Voting question..
« on: November 02, 2022, 02:54:58 AM »
  Today's Democrats equal...

  High taxes

  Recession

   Inflation

   $5 gasoline

   Grocery bill doubled

Presenting the Taliban with enough free weapons to become the  #4 army in the world

Adding  87,000 new IRS agents to harass businesses, and folks like you and I .

  Teaching kindergarten kids pornography

Destruction of our retirements and 401K accounts

Sponsoring crime wave across the country

Refusing to jail perps...unless they attack the speaker's husband

Mutilating the genitals of pre-pubescent and teenage boys and girls

Continue the slaughter of the pre-born

Still trying to confiscate our guns.

  Pressing  for Socialism/communism

Boost-ing the racist program of CRT

Is anybody here willing to admit that they will likely vote for even more of this crap ?

Problem is they lie about conservatives.  They say they are misogynistic, hate LBGTQ people, suppress voting rights, hate immigrants, hate blacks, hate women, etc, etc.  Most of the news media is in their pockets, as well as the entrenched government bureaucracies.  College, as well as grade school kids, have been told all the bad about our founding fathers, and never the greater good they did.  Therefore, they have no respect for our founding fathers.

Hopefully Musk can change Twitter.  We as conservatives really have no loud voice in the national arena, except maybe a little on Fox news or talk radio.  Anything we question, they say is disinformation and censer it.  They also will not listen to the right and why they believe what they do.

And the Dems want to eliminate Social Security. That will bring out the elderly voters against the left. So far as I've read its only talk.

You get a SS cost of living raise, and your supplemental insurance goes up about the same.

I don't get social security but the wife does. I've not yet heard what kinda raise if any I'll get on my retirement check which is civil service retirement. But I have been told my health insurance is going up by $150 per month so that will likely wipe out most of whatever raise I get.

Whatever we receive in a SS raise, for sure it won't equal what this mental midget has cost us in losses to our 401K and IRA plans,
to say nothing about what he is costing us with  with higher prices on any single thing we may buy..or any service we will purchase
....because of the inflation he brought down upon us..

nope I read that were getting 8.7 but real world it would take 10 to break even from last year. One good thing for those of you on medicare is that it isnt going up like it usuallly does but i dont know about your supplements. My retirement sucks. What i got 11 years ago when i retired is what i get today and will get 20 years from now. I also read a while back that if real inflation over the last 20 years was factored in we would need a 27 percent raise just to break even with what our ss bought us 20 years ago. Talked to the car dealer about a new truck yesterday. Im kind of up in the air about it. He will deal but not near like last time and interest rates are 2 percent higher and the bank said if i didnt lock it in tomarrow it was going up another 3/4 percent.  There rate today was 4.75 percent and she said she do 4.5 for me. I kind of chucked at that what the hell is .25 percent. Might just have to run this one till the rates go down and the dealers get desperate again. Its only got 50k on it and its paid for.

the thing about all of it that really bothers me is that
now there's all these thousands (millions?) of people
drawing a check with no difficulty, and they've never
hit a lick or paid into the system like so many of us
have over the years.

those same do-nothings have whittled our various
infrastructures down from excellent to barely scraping
by

everything that the people who paid in and were
working to have something for our own benefit
for the bad or lean times have essentially had
all that stolen from us.
there's no grey area in that. if it was paid for
and now it's not there for it's intended purpose
it was stolen. there's no other way to put it
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

He is responsible for the increase, because of his causing inflation to rise so much.  The Sorry Old Boys in Washington have helped him, and as always the yearly increase does not keep up with the artificially reduced " cost of living."

you have a point there. He sure caused the inflation that led to the raise.

The people that vote for a nanny state never admit that they do.  I have yet to run into an admitted Biden voter, but you can usually tell who they are, by what they say.

I have old friends that have voted a straight democratic ticket for over 50 years. I've recently heard one of them tell me she's just not sure whether she'll continue to support Biden.

They, and others have always voted democrat. Their parents, and grandparents voted democrat. They, for the most part, can't tell you what their candidates support, but their democrats, and thats all that matters.

I used to try and talk to them, but you most times, realize they are unreachable

Where to start:

The "gamers" and bankers selling the 401 K retirement used to annually ask if we had any questions (in response to their Siren's Song), "to set aside just 6% and in 30-years you will be a Millionaire!"  I always asked, until Management told me to stop, "If I put $1K in at the beginning of this year, will you return to me $100K by the end of the year, like was done for Hillary Clinton?"

Under Biden
a.)  401k down 33%
b.)  COLA to SS already negative percentage due to actual inflation well over 10%
c.)  Diesel fuel shortage looming.
d.)  Fuel price WAY UP.
e.)  Food price UP fast, fall slow.
f.)  Homeowner's Insurance (hurricane alley) non-renewing in Feb '23.
f.1.)  Homeowner's Insurance alternatives doubling - tripling price from financial HELL.
g.)  Real Estate Taxes are UP.
h.)  Interest rates are SKYROCKETING.
i.)  The oil and fossil fuel Industry is "biden it's time" and not investing in America.

Biden's gaffs are more frequent and INCREASING daily.  The Left is circling the drain and will probably take the Dems down it on 8 November.

We get taxed on income before it's in our pocket.  The money we spend is taxed.  The real estate on which we hunt and in which live is taxed.  If you can see water (river, ocean, ditch), there is a real estate tax for that.  If it rains, there is a tax for getting rid of the water.  You buy and drive a vehicle, there is a road tax, a fuel tax, a sales tax, interest to be paid on a loan.  No kids in school, you still get taxed.

Volunteer for military service then work your whole life for a better tomorrow and see it all going to hell through illegal immigration, welfare, BLM, Acorn, "mostly peaceful" protests, "Insurrection Riot" (my ass), needles and feces in the streets, rampant homelessness, panhandlers, Useful Idiots, Green Energy (my ass), purple and blue hair, tats everywhere, facial piercings, ear lobe enlargements, TRILLIONS of Federal dollars spent overseas in countries that HATE the USA, soaring deficit spending, and the threat of nuclear holocaust from four (+/-) sides (Iran, Russia, China[?], N. Korea) never more REAL than NOW.

lloyd, don't buy a new vehicle!!!  Your "paid for" 50K-mile vehicle is not even broken in and the taxes and interest will further deplete your savings to no good end.  When the SHTF and there is no fuel you won't be able to drive either your old or new vehicle anyway.
