The idea is fascinating. I remain skeptical.
A fine short story by Rod Serling -  A Sound of Thunder - details travel into the future. It also brings Chaos Theory into the mix…..changing little things can have big consequences.

It would be nice to have a devise that only takes you back 5 minutes. That’s enough time to right a wrong.
