Chop up Thanksgiving like they did Christmas
« on: November 23, 2022, 03:31:31 PM »
I've noticed yesterday and today
that many of the local stores have
"OPEN ALL DAY THANKSGIVING
AND FRIDAY  !" signs everywhere.
I guess the poor employees just
have to pound sand and not have
any kind of time off for Thanksgiving
to spend as they see fit.
Hasn't been but a very short time
that everybody was moaning about
not being able to hire any help and
so on. Now the employees that
are willing to step up and take
charge get poked out of their day
they should have off.

I guess those with the business
degrees never will learn that
without happy loyal employees
you don't have a business that
will make the long haul.
I miss some of the people I've
worked for in the past. They
took care of the good experienced
employees and made sure they
rode for the brand. Slackers didn't
last and got the boot without
gubmint interference
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I was at Walmart yesterday and met a gal from our church, who works there.  After some small talk and her showing me some full, wrapped skids on the floor..just waiting fo "black Friday"..I asked her if she would be required to work on Thanksgiving Day.

She surprised me, when she replied that Wally World would be closed for Thanksgiving, that one at least..
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)
