Pink Floyd

For the older unnamed stoners. A bit of yesterdays, (Delicate sound of thunder.) just something else in a different avenue. If anyone is offended my apologies.

Crazy they opened with ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’. I just happened to pull that out and listen to it this morning.

R.I.P. Richard Wright. Love hearing him and Gilmour together.

I'm from the era before stoners. Sorry, I would about as soon listen to a cat fight. Even the title is weird. I can understand why being mind altered would help when listening.

I'm going to hunt up some George Thorogood to listen to to get that out of my ears.  ;D

Blues combined with Alternative Rock, as it was called back then.

Good music ----  , back then , for Sunday afternoon to just enjoy the day off after church.

The hard rock/alternative music station up here, before it became a commercial stink hole, used to play a lot of laid back, often instrumental, rock music on Sunday, but was a competitor to KAAY the rest of the week.

I only listened Pink Floyd back when i was a stoner, well over 45 years ago. Fresh out of the AF.  Its legal in this state now. But i don't care. My little sister tried to get to me to smoke some of her California weed. I told her no way.
It would probably kill me at my age.

Alcohol was our choice of drugs. We heard of that heroin stuff and MJ available in the big cities but that was it. It was visit the bootlegger, make an almost 90 mile round trip south and back for booze, or stay sober. The BL choices were not great. You either drank Schlitz beer from a quart bottle or Four Roses from a pint bottle, take it or leave it. I only tried the 4 roses once. Once in a while a car load would make a weekend trip to Villa Acuna (now known as Cuidad Aguna) and bring back some tequila and sometimes some creepy crawlies along with it.  ;D Rock music was in it's infancy and we seldom heard any on our one lonesome radio station---that went off the air at 6 PM every afternoon.

After I moved across the state line to NM there was plenty of booze but still nothing to stick in your veins, stuff up your nose, or inhale.
