The Ultimate Guide to America’s Regional Burgers
« on: January 27, 2023, 12:12:44 PM »
I was looking on-line to see if any of the burger joint lists, actually had a true burger joint NOT in a large city .
I found these regional lists, and there are a lot of them with mostly the same thing; this one actually lists more than one place that serves the supposed regional type burger.

I have been to the one in Praire du Chien , Wisc. and it is actually a small trailer (like you see ma and pops use at county fairs) out in a small town and you had best look on-line to find it.

What got me started was a link on MSN listed supposed "Hole-in-the-Wall" burger joints and most were one hell of a long ways from hole in the wall joints.
A hole in the wall does not charge $9.50 for a burger like the one they listed for Michigan; I have been to Detroit and old school slider type burger joints with basic prices from 2 some thing to 4 bucks are numerous.
THOSE are Hole-in-the-Wall joints.
