Good. Do they still have 2 minutes of commercials for each minute of programming or has that changed. I have it but quit trying to watch anything on it because of all the commercials quite awhile ago plus the not sci-fi thing.

They have cut down a lot on the commercials from what I've seen. Completely different, at least you can watch something worth watching now. Plus they have The ARC thats a bit like Star Trek, and they have the Twilight Zone. It might be because those two are on Wednesdays. And they are more like movies. Last night they did Battle Los Angeles and it barely had any commercials ,and those were short. Something changed on 122, they are doing real SIFI now.

I have not watched the Sci-Fi channel for at least a decade; I might give it try.
Way back, I did watch some of the new Twilight Zone and they were an insult to the original.

Science Fiction has on a whole become Fantasy fiction, BUT, my brother gave me a cluster of old Andre Norton novels, the kind with two stories in each book.
I loved her novels when I was a teenager, interesting reading now with how far technology has advanced in hte past fifty years.
You can compare reality with what was science fiction back then.

I am going to drop off movies and go to sci-fi books for a minute. Somehow I missed John Sandford/Ctien's novel "Saturn Run". I did a local library run last week and dug through their supply of Sandford (one of my very favorite authors) novels and found this one and two of his crime novels that I had managed to miss. This one is somewhat science based. Be sure to read the afterword at the end if you decide to read it. Lots of research and figuering went into it.

I still remember reading The Andromeda strain. And that old man who was taking a lot of aspirins so it wouldn't kill him.
Or that baby.the mother died. And i liked reading The guns of the South. The South was given AK47s . By some South African time travelers. So the Confederacy would win the Civil War. And they did.
