Does Burris or Leuopold make a 22 rimfire scope or do you have to return the scope to the factory for parallax adjustment? I’m in the market for a good quality rimfire scope maybe a 2.5x7x32 or something of the like.

What have been your choices for a good quality rimfire scope? Suggestions please.

Thanks,
Scott

...........Leupold makes a great 2-7 rimfire special compact scope with duplex reticle that is finer than a standard but not so fine that you can't use it in the field..it is set for closer shooting with shorter parallax.......they also have a 3-9EFR compact that has AO and adjust from 10m out.......I have several of the 3-9's and traded the 2-7 for a 3-9EFr.......they are very nice and match normal rimfire rifle size well......I hear good things about Burris scopes but have had such great luck with 24 Leupold scopes I haven't felt the need to try one......NOTE .....HEARSAY...there have been some complaints about Burris customer service lately......SECOND HAND INFO.....from various boards.....HTH..good luck and good shooting!!

Hey Bigdaddy,

Thanks for the info. I'll have to order one, no one in my area stocks those two scopes.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott, I mounted a 3x9 EFR Leupold on my .22 rifle and I'm very pleased with it. I use it for squirrel hunting.

I have a plain ol 2-7 VXI on my 22 and I have never noticed a parallax problem.  The standard scopes are a lot cheaper that the 22 scopes.  Cannot see paying the difference since I have never seen the parallax problem.
