Interesting but now that has me wanting to go into the attic and see if I have any of the tops I received as a kid, especially those that were my parents toys!

I remember there used to be a small one you pumped up, the more you pumped the longer it spun.

  Gyroscopic effect is quite interesting.  Try holding a larger one and putting it through various motions...could likely be demonstrated wita a bicycle wheel and bracket.

Remember the slinky springs? I would put them at the top of the stairs and watch them go down. They made the maker a rich man. So did silly putty.  You’ll put your eye out ! Heard that also about a BB gun , i still have it.
