I'll never know why we ever started to share an international space station with the Russians.. unless it was just one of the many ways Obama tried to  'prove' that the USA is not an "exceptional" nation.

They gave us rides up there and back for three years at a very high price. I don't know what SpaceX is now charging them. I hope Space X will stick it in and break it off for Russia.

SpaceX has a nice new clean looking capsule capable of flying 4 comfortably or 6 in an emergency.  They charge about half what the Russians were charging.  Cheap enough that two all private missions have already flown paying customers into orbit.  Next one has permission to dock at the space station.  SpaceX is training their own astronauts.  Musk's ultimate goal is to colonize Mars with profits off Tesla and Starlink systems.  He is making $1 billion a year off the existing Starlink customers at $110 a month.  This is a little over 1 million customers and he is expanding into Africa and South America as well as northern Europe and North America.  10 million customers translates into $10 billion a year.  He already makes about $20 billion a year launching satellites and spacecraft for various countries and government agencies.  He is now launching about 2 reusable rockets a week.  SpaceX is now worth more than Lockheed or Boeing.  This is not counting Tesla cars, solar panels, and home battery packs, and solar shingles they install.  Then, he owns Twitter now.

Of course it is, but not near what the Russians were charging us. And we don't get charged for much of what Space X does for the U.S. in unison with NASA, blame NASA. Not Space X. The ISS is international, so you fly you pay, Japan does, so do other countries it’s not on us. Space X Starship, once it’s up and running like a big Falcon 9, countries and private industry will pay top money for the trip to Mars to a colony.

Personally, I think that Obama sent our astronauts up to a Russian space station, just to humiliate the USA..
 
  Famous crooked politicians like Andrew Cuomo also has said, the US is not an "exceptional nation", showing his ignorance as well as his distain for the USA.

   Many Democrats hold a natural antipathy toward our country, they seem to hate it in every way..
 
  How so ?  Just look over their record during the Obama regime as well as this Biden boondoggle.

  Think back now..with their international dealings with other countries, be they friend or foe...
   Of all those dealings..how many ended being beneficial to the United States?

   On the other hand with Pres Trump, our deals with friends were beneficial to both...while our enemies got no deal
     without we came out ahead... This by the president who wrote.. "The Art of the Deal"...

  We need him or one like him in 2024..
