Ah yes back to the era when science fiction was fantasizing with telepathy.

My brother gave me a book on classics from that era after a few stories the telepathy thing gets boring but a few of them are quite interesting.

Childhoods end has nothing to do with telepathy Bob. It’s from Arther C Clark. The same man who brought us 2001 a Space Odyssey. Watch the movie on youtube.its free.

P.S. I have them all. Including all the Hunger Games and (Mockingjay.)  That’s the one about the war against the capital.

I know its definition. And I'm sure that many here do also. But there is no mention of it in Childhoods End. That’s an entirely different storyline. But i do think you would like it, when it says end ,it means it and it’s very sad. After the Alien Overlords had pampered mankind for decades, it was time for a retribution we weren't told about . No more children are born , Only one human was left and he didn't want to be alone. So he wasn't, or the Earth. All that was left was a song where we once were.
