Venison Fajitas
« on: November 20, 2002, 12:25:12 PM »
1-2 lbs venison steaks
1 bell pepper sliced thin
1 yellow onion sliced thin
1 pkg Taco seasoning mix (McCormicks, etc.)

1 pkg flour tortillas
diced tomato
shredded cheese
sour cream
diced lettuce
salsa

Pound the steaks as if preparing to pan fry. Slice into thin strips.  Sautee in skillet with taco seasoning according to package instructions.  Lower heat, add onion and bell pepper.  Continue to sautee until tender.

That's it.  Just wrap in tortillas with the sour cream, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and salsa.

I find that this is really easy and is better than fajitas that cost $15 at the local tavern.

Enjoy.
