Looking for a good gunsmith.
« on: March 17, 2004, 12:46:42 PM »
Hello all,

I have a Ruger Blackhawk in 45 LC that I want to put a 14.5 inch barrel on and have some other work done on it. Any one knows of a really good gunsmith that specializes in revolvers that can make barrels?

You might check out www.clementscustomguns.com

He does some mighty fine work on Ruger revolvers, though it's sometimes a tossup as to whether you would rather spend that money on custom work or buy a Freedom Arms and get something similar out of the box. I have been toying with the idea of having him build me a .41 special out of my three screw .357 Blackhawk, but funds haven't allowed that yet.
