This is a picture of a Cold Steel Trailmaster that I put on a new handle(haven't polished yet) and a mini tomahawk I made.

Jeff, that is beautiful work!  Would you mind sharing the process you used to replace the grip on the Twistmaster (oops, I mean Trailmaster)?

:-)  Lol. Lot of difference between a "Twistmaster" and "Trailmaster". I have a "Twistmaster" and like it a lot. Made similar to an "Opinel" knife.  Has a good Carbon V steel blade in it. Handle is black  plastic(?). Very sturdy knife. Stays sharp. Like that handle on your Trailmaster. Really a nice looking knife now. :-)

I cut a section of elk antler out that looked like a knife handle. Drilled and reamed the antler for the tang. Cut notches around the tang and epoxied the handle on the tang after shaping with a belt sander.

Jeff, thanks!  Seems straightforward enough.

Dread, the "Twistmaster" I refer to is the famed Trailmaster after the bond holding the stock Kraton handle breaks loose and starts twisting  around the tang.  Pun was intentional.  No disrespect meant to Cold Steel's Opinel look alike.
