Sorry, I don't know, but I really like the idea.  I would like it checkered and be a little wider and flatter on the bottom.   If anyone knows of an aftermarket forarms please tell us.  Grampa Mike.

:D , OK Guys, go no further than H&R1871!!! Order a forearm for a Buff Classic or Target Model, they are the same. They fit my Handi's great, are just short of 12" long, nicely checkered, a bit wider and flatter and are nice american black walnut and yes I mean real walnut!!! I think they are $31.00 and fit perfect. Go to the H&R rifle section and check out the forearm on the Buff Classic, real sweet. I had it on my 45/70 first but now it's on my 7x57 Handi with a Fajen walnut buttstock that I finished myself with only 4 coats of WaterLox pure Tung Oil....Sweet finish and waterproof!!!....<><....

The forearm on my 223 Ultra is checkered too if you want to go laminated.

Never had a Ultra in my hands.  Is it wider and flatter too?

No the ultra forend is the same width as the standard Handi except laminated wood.  The widest is the storearm forend from the survivor stock.
