Prairie Dogs in Canada!!

Has anyone hunted in PD’s in Canada? I just talked to Brent Mitchell up in Canada. He says the PD population is out of this world. I told him I would spread the word. It seems to me that you would have all day shooting under a hundred yards. Thanks, Dave.

Judging from the phone number your friend is only 100 miles or so from me and I can confirm ...yes the PD (gopher) population has been significant the last year or two.
As a matter of fact last year they where so bad in some areas you could hardly go 50 or 100 yard without seeing one splatered on the road. The fields moved with them some places.
All in all this is what spurred me on to at least in part to get back into shooting.
Lot's of good hunting here (dear number are good too). I just wish we had more freedom when it came to handguns.
