CAUTION !!! .50 Caliber ban in NYS !!!!!!!
« on: March 17, 2004, 12:31:11 PM »
The following is from a friend in the state of Kalifornication where they just went through the same damn thing. But they beat it. Lets get the word out here and hope that we also can beat it into submission. See the link below......

Stay Safe,
Franz

Heads up! This thing is moving and they're not telling the whole story. It will ban .50 cal on up and that will include black powder, pistols and possibly shotguns. It looks like the same assholes and the same lies that were used here for the last couple of years. Hope it goes down in flames, let the locals know about it.

I've already sent my assemblymen my e mails. have to say, every time you turn around, your fighting for something.  gets kind of sickening.

It doesn't say shotguns and weapons larger than .50 caliber.  It just says .50 caliber.

The intent is to ban .50 claiber rifles that shoot .50 BMG rounds. It may look like an all encompassing law but I think it is just very poorly written.  Since the .50 BMG is actually .511 what good would it do to ban .50 caliber rifles?

I looked at it and read it the same way you did. unfortunately, we all know how our gun grabbing governments works. Especially with us New Yorkers having scummer and klinton at the anti gun helm.
My friend said in a later mailing to me that they started the same thing where he is, and by the time they got it all written. It was not only .50 cals., but also anything larger. So do with the information what you will. I just relayed it here.

Fight it!

Fight it though.  Because most politicians just find a band wagon and stay on it until people can't stand the music anymore.  Very few actuallyt know what they are talking about or signing.

Since there are already more than enough laws concerning the use of a firearm in the commission of a crime what are they really accomplishing by this. I am sure that all terrorists are going to turn theirs in.
