T/C barrel withcrooked rear sight........
« on: March 11, 2004, 09:15:35 AM »
Brand new brl with the rear sight mounting holes drilled NOT TDC. They're drilled off to the left making the  rear sight canted. Not acceptable to me. It goes back to T/C tomorrow.

Make sure it really is the holes.  Sometimes the pin at the front of the sight isn't in all the way or the adjusting screw is bent, making it cant and appear off center.  If this is what it is, you can probably call them and get a new sight that you can replace yourself a lot faster than sending it in.

Nope, the holes are drilled off center. Very visible with the rear sight removed. This is a brand new, right out of the box, 12" blue barrel. I bought 4 of them 3 blue and 1 S.S. they were all hornet barrels. My stainless brl is ok and one of the blue brls is ok. I'm still waiting to hear from the other guy who bought one.

Is that one of those gangsta models? Don't have to tilt your head so much. :)

T/C is going to send me a replacement barrel. A stainless steel barrel to replace the defective blue barrel. How about that? Good people. I've bought 5 12" 22 Hornet barrels in the last month to sell to fellow NRA hunter pistol shooters. All my customers say that they shoot great folks.
