It’s hard to tell sometimes. Man and woman are just book ends with a wide range between them. Just like eye, hair and skin color.
Same with grasp of reality 
As for using religion to discriminate against people who are different, I don’t think that is how it’s supposed to work.

You should go directly to the designer/builder, for your information. Aman and a woman were designed to bnecome "one flesh',
that is completion of His design.
24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. (Gen 2:24) Are trying to live in a different arrangement... e.g. "a round peg in a square hole" ?
If you are doing that, true contentment will escape you.. If that is so, it's Time to get with your creator's program.
