Seems like I remembered reading recent post for someone looking for nice 336 in 35cal.  Saw one today at local gun shop.  Ser# 261XXX.  Both wood and blueing very nice.  Action was smooth.  They were asking $280. I have no idea if that's reasonable or not, but it was pretty.  If anyone is interested, Clark Brothers, Warrenton, VA 540-439-8988.

Saw a new one at a gun show in Saratoga, NY in 35 Rem (???) caliber - they wanted $392 without the tax....  Did I see the right thing or did I identify the wrong caliber?  Mikey.

Not sure.   I picked up this rifle several times looking for flaws. didn't see any.
