China owns Tennessee..

  Well, not exactly..but according to Sen Ernst (R-Iowa) said this morning on Newsmax, that China now owns between 37 million and 50 million acres of
   United States; land holdings equivalent to the size of Tennessee.

Well the elected officials likely didn't sell that land they only approved the sale. I know a retired farmer that I believe he and his brother sold their inherited farm to a Japanese company that wanted to turn it into a pig farm.

  Surely if we don't want China or some other country taking our land through war, why should we let them buy the land away ?

Most countries don't allow foreigners to own property. Mexico for one. But Americans re the ones selling America.

I don't know about Chinese buying their way in, but it's the hoards coming here illegally and living off of us that needs to stop and be reversed.  Whether the Chinese buy land here, or not, all immigration needs to stop for a long period of time--at least until we can show a dire need for it.  I would prefer that farm land be restricted to American ownership.  No ghost owners.
