Had a "duh" moment there.  Was wondering what kind of artificial intelligence is that?

I wish I had one. If I knew of a local gunsmith up to the chore I'd let him turn my R700 LSS into a .280AI but I know of none I'd trust with the job. So I'll likely die without owning one. Oh well.

Prolly no one ever will Lloyd. It's a limited edition gun made only one or maybe it was two years. Floor plate has the info on it. My .257 Whby Magnum is same way and set up the same with the black and gray laminated stock. I also have a 30-06 with same laminated stock.

ive got one in 7stw and there a really sharp gun. i bought those dies because i walked into a gun shop i delt with for years and would always dicker. well they had new a new savage 2800ai.  up here thats a hard sale. i left and happened to see a set of dies for sale and bought them. came back 2 weeks later and i offered him 40 bucks less than what he was asking (same price i could get it from buds) and he kind of snottingly said the price is on the tag. told him to shove it. went in there 9 months later and it was still there but i wouldnt have offered him a hundred bucks for it. never got one from buds because to many operations have kept me from crop damage shooting and i doubt ill do it again. figured it cost me 1500 bucks a year to ge about 300lbs of venison and i can buy a whole beef and get 400lbs of meat for 2500. factor in wear and tear on my vehicles and its about a wash and even though i love venison it cant compete with a good ribeye and i dont have to spend 3 hours a day butchering deer for a month and a half. the beef comes vacuum packed and ready to eat. do miss the shooting part. even though their does shooting one out past 400 yards is still a thrill and never gets old
