  Of course, they "pinky promise" not to go after the average Joe..  Here's the promise from the article..

   So, I guess we regular folks can rely on a gubmint promise, not to harass us little guys..  ..But with 85,000 new agents, backed up by AI..how
     many super zillionaires are there, who need such baby sitting?

   ...And how is it the gubmint has not p[[ut a crimp on already proven tax evaders, such as the Biden bunch and Al Sharpton?

   Yeah... Two "fact checkers" and CNN...reliable sources...

   In your second "fact checker" link..the fact checker did not dispute what Matt Gaetes said the IRS has bought $700,000 worth of ammunition..

   Then further down, the fact checker admitted this;

   I guess thay are saying they are not technically IRS agents..if they are involved in IRS "enforcement"..

   Of course, as with Socialists, the more power they can grab, the more they enjoy "enforcement" !

  Now that they are to iutilize AI..they can likely dispense with the super rich in a couple days..then what does AI do to occupy itself?
