Nope! He had made a lot of promises to real conservative republicans to get the job, but about the only promises he kept were to Biden.
McCarthy ain't done yet, he's gonna try and get the job back.

Likely your right, but maybe he'll be less likely to continue to run the debt up.

When Trump took office, the Republicans held the House, and the Senate, and these same Republicans did nothing.

Right now the country is at 33 trillion dollars and McCarthy was giving Biden unaccounted for, billions more almost monthly to Ukraine, while the southern border still goes unchecked.

McCarthy is one of those RINOS that is giving the country away.

While I'm a Trump supporter, I don't think that would be a good idea. What is a better idea would be term limits. Congress is, and has been for decades, a corrupt mess. I'm tired of all these so called conservative RINOS like Texas' Dan Crenshaw, and Senator John Cornin pretending to be sumthin their not.

Right now "PROFESSIONAL Congressional Republicans are howling like coyotes about Matt Gates and the democrats giving Mccarthy the boot. I'm tired of that to.

The thing that would fix part of it is
to publicly disclose their finances
regularly. Somebody goes in with
$400,000.00 in assets, then is worth
4.3 million in a few years is obviously
taking an extra piece of pie.
The main thing is that many constituents
don't want the boat to rock because they're
afraid they might lose their own gravy train.
People that have never had to do without
or make sacrifices and have always been
comfortable stay apathetic until the
gravy train is threatened
21st century people can't deal with adversity
or discomfort. I had read something earlier
somewhere before I got my eyes opened
good about all these people that don't want
to give up any degree of comfort, and instead
of making any preparations for disaster or
"apocalypse " that they'll choose to revert to
cannibalism to eat, or off themselves and
their loved ones so none will have to "suffer "

I've seen many in my area that won't make
the most basic of preparations for these
frequent bad storms and such, and seem
to look upon braving the crush of the crowds
to go buy water and batteries and the basic
"tornado " stuff as some sort of enjoyable game.

What they're saying on the Buck Sexton/Clay Travis radio show is that 15 or 20 other house Republicans agreed with the 8 but took the cowardly way out, and laid low.

Jim Jordan has now thrown his hat in the ring, and I dare say that would be a huge improvement on speaker of the house.
