I see more and more of that type of poser
idiot every day. They're flocking here by the
tens of thousands and bringing their socialist
mindset and philosophy with them. Then they
honestly and truly can't fathom wth happened
here?  The best and clearest example I can
think of is the out-of-staters that crowded into
Austin, and voted the police out, then can't
understand why the crime rate soared out
of control.

  I'D bet that dude is at least a 3rd or 4th generation Texan . Probably never been out of the state in his life . We have alot of those  in Alabama , but they are easier to spot by their color .

communities in my dad's and grandpa's
day. There were a couple couple in east
Texas that tried to start their own little
kingdoms before this was a republic and
the settlers had to handle it the old fashioned
way. They didn't have near the problems
we have today

  I once bought a home, and lived in east Texas..in what was called the "Golden Triangle" area... I had the good fortune to make friends with a local resident who was well informed in local history, and he related this item to me..

   It existed from the coast, along the Sabine river, from Port Arthur..up throught Orange, Beaumont, etc.

  In earlier Texas history, there was once a political feature somewhere in the area, referred to as a  "Gore"..  That was a mapping mistake, that left
   a wedge shaped area, where neither Texas or Louisana had ..or apparently wanted, jurisdiction.

   So it doesn't take very many guesses to figure out what type of people were inclined to settle there..it was a wild place for many years..
