   THe Marines have  been holding exercises with Kuwaiti forces until recently, But they have been called off...to show up off the coast of Israel.

  The 26th MEU (Marine expeditionary unit) is a Marsoc "special operations capable" expeditionary unit..just as my grandson's 22nd MEU was.
  So they are fully capable of Special Operations...such as hostage rescue.

   Now we find that certain Spec Ops un its are already on the ground there..

   Such a MEU is a very capable force.  The heart of the small fleet is an assault/attack ship, which is about 850 feet long and 105 feet wide, about the size of the aircraft Enterprize of WW2.

    This small fleet houses 2200 special operations Marines, STOL fighter aircraft, plus an assortment of helicopters for special operations.

  It also discharges a huge hovercraft from the rear..which carries troops to a beach or up a river...  The 26th MEU has the Assault/Attack ship 
    USS Bataan as their core ship..

  Not really !  I just wondered if he was going to completely screw things upo...as he did in Afghanistan..

   In that well posted video of a destroyed Israeli tank, a video was published, showing an attack missile view.  I couldn't help but wonder if that
   tank were destroyed and those tankers killed with some of those weapons Joe surrendered in Afghanistan..
