..Don't know if this should go under trapping or religion..

...But thinking again of the "sensitivities" of some posters, i figured it would end up here, so I posted in the religion forum.

If you are a trapper, you may wish to learn the history of the maker(s). of the Oneida traps ...and silverware.

"Communal Communism" didn't work in the first century.  Later after the book of Acts was written.  Paul had the churches in Greece take up a collection for the "saints" in Jerusalem.  It was practiced by the Christians that lived in Jerusalem, but it failed to provide for all their needs, so Paul had to have the Greeks take up the collection for them.

Even with everyone being true Christians, some people are just lazier than others or can make more money or produce more than others.  This can cause resentment on the part of the harder workers.

Communism doesn't work, never has and never will no mater who runs it.  We are to help the widows and orphans as well as the poor, but the Bible also says if a man doesn't work, he doesn't eat.  There are several reasons for being poor.  Health, disability, age, accidents, husband who provided died, and also intelligence, as well as just plain lazy.  Giving should be determined by which one it is.  Jesus also said, the poor will always be with you.

In my lifetime, people have always been jealous
and envious of the wealthy.
During the recent strike west of here at the assembly
plant, every striking worker interviewed would mention the
salary of the CEO
So what  ? !  ?
When you agree to take a job at an agreed upon
salary and agreed upon duties,  I don't understand
any dissatisfaction,  unless you're just jealous and
envious.
Today there's a good many people working jobs
they're not qualified for because of hiring quotas
and political correctness. A good many management
types trying to run a company they know nothing
about, and tell employees how to do a job that
they could not do themselves

That's what I see from my years in the workforce

The people I know of and converse with that
are involved in the trap and trapping business
say that some orders up to 2 years old for
traps from Victor have been unfilled with no
expected ship date or explanation. One
outside person not involved with Victor
has said it's because their steel orders
from outside of the country is sketchy.
Other people can't figure why people buying
traps are buying traps made overseas.

People don't want to see or hear, and they
enable and make excuses
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Both posts above were made by astute observers.  Communism has NEVER worked, and it never will ! Just for starters, it is expecting people who
hate God (a Communist expectation) to do what is fair and honest. It expects such ungodly ones to work hard, in a selfless manner.

   That's not going to happen..

A natural outcome of the union movement, is a tendency for many individuals to lose their sense of being an individual, created in the image of
God.   Instead they take on the identity of "the group", and act as hundreds under control of one mind.

We see that in Riots, strikes, Antifa and BLM... and yes, sometimes the right acts that way.

Greed is a feature of the "natural man", and can crop up at any time, particularly with the most "natural" among us.

For those unfamiliar with the term, "natural" refers to the unsaved human, and since today's Socialism/communism expects that among it's
devotees, they will get plenty of it !
