Need disassembly instructions for Browning BPS
« on: March 26, 2004, 04:00:39 AM »
Picked up a used BPS and would like to take it completely down and clean it up.  Do this all my guns and this one is just a bit stiff and needs a good cleaning.

I got the browning owners manual but that only goes as far as taking off the barrel and lubing.  Need instructions for removing the bolt.

I hate to have to revert to the old "spray it out with gun scrubber and lube it up" :( , would prefer to do a thorough job..

If someone could point me to a website that has instructions for detail stripping it would be appreciated...

Thanks....

Here is a parts diagram.  The takedown sequence is fairly apparent.  This site has a really good inventory of diagrams..
