More Catholic Witchcraft
« on: February 19, 2024, 01:04:46 AM »
This is the actual arm of St Jude. It (the  arm) is currently on tour in the Divided States so you can take your kids to see an actual human arm in a glass case, which is less messy than approaching a really bad car accident.
Catholics believe that this arm has healing power, and thousands take things like written prayers, and even medical records to its touring locations.  :o

Well..,,this time I cannot disagree with you. The veneration of relics by the RC church is an ages old practice …the holy grail myth is one. Geoffrey Chaucer satirized the practice in his “The Canterbury Tales” in the 14th century. Some of the claims over the centuries have been outrageous. A piece of the true cross here, another there. The arm of St. Jude? Really? Jude was one of the 12 apostles. How old does that make the relic? How did they establish provenance?
