Got 2 ammo checkers for .308. One is a Lyman, the other a Hornady. Never had any problems, both a bolt and AR-10. Loading earlier today, dropped a finished round into the Lyman, and it didn't drop in all the way. About 1/8 of an inch sticking out. Grabbed the Hornady, and dropped right in, bottom of the case flush. Use a Redding FL die, case length is good. Never noticed it before. Not afraid to shoot them, guess maybe the Lyman might just have a bit tighter tolerance than the Hornady?
