Big meth seizure at the weak southern border
« on: February 24, 2024, 09:18:44 AM »
Law enforcement seized 6.5 tons of
methamphetamine at the southern
border, headed for Houston they say.
I haven't heard any numbers of estimates
of what got past the checkpoints or
came in the old fashioned way on the
backs of border jumpers,  or any word
on how much American currency was
smuggled into meckseeko by those in
the employ of the cartels.
They used to show bp agents pre-biden
searching suspicious vehicles and
finding hidden compartments built in
to vehicles here, then filled with bundles
of cash or items considered contraband
in meckseeko, like firearms and ammunition.
That's been a decade or more ago IIRC
so there's no telling at the volume of
smuggled cash and goods headed south
in 2024
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
