Coffee
A package of the Jimmy Dean Egg Bites
sausage and three cheese

every 1 or 2 weeks)
Coffee
3 vanilla oreo-type cookies
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Being alone and not being a diligent chef..besides being an "eat to live" guy, more than a "live to eat" fellow, I generally do meals fast and simple

Lately, i have found favor with a small, sausage & gravy pie.  ..Guess I'll polish off one of those with coffee, before I go to mow the 4-5 acre lawn up at my Legion post..

Unfortunately the last couple of alleged sausage/gravy/biscuit
bowls/pies things have seemed excessively runny and watery
to me. I may just be too used to homemade, I don't know.
At one time some years ago, someone offered a sausage/biscuit/gravy
something or other that was pretty good, but I can't remember
exactly who.
Same with (alleged) breakfast burritos.
I bought a package a week or so ago that
was definitely sub-par
Supposed to have been potato/egg/sausage/cheese,
but it was more like everything was pureed and
rolled in a tortilla and frozen.
Tasted ok, but only ok. Not something I would
buy again

So far, the pies have been OK for me..  ..But sometimes I use Libby's sausage gravy.  Half a can over a biscuit is fine, but when I try to refrigerate the other half..just over night...the gravy turns to water.

It is just way too good and easy to make to eat ready made from a can or freezer, even if ya screwed it up it would probably be better, I will admit to having some cans of Libby’s in the larder and not too bad.

My problem... not a chef, tyro or otherwise.  I once bought a shiny new black BBQ thing...  It sat on my  back deck until it turned old and gray.

  ..Ended up, giving it away..

Yes, my wife was a great cook, so i was pleased to let her handle the task..  Now that she has passed away, i have no interest in cooking or
baking.  I suppose that is because as I said.....I eat to live, rather than live to eat..

Pan Haus...  good stuff..   Called scrapple, by others

My late wife was of Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish or Mennonite) heritage, so I enjoyed many German inspired foods.  ...And Pan Haus (rhymes with 'Don
    Boss") is one of them.

  The base is corn meal mush..the rest is below..click onto it;

None today, but yesterday I had six Gouda Cheese with Caraway sandwiches.

Bread was from Walmart but had a BIG hole in the middle so six was more like three.
